| Bradley Nowell was a very happy person, he loved to smile and to sing and most of all he loved life it's self. With Brads regga and ska influences, in 1988 he formed Sublime, in 1992 they had released their first album 40oz to freedom. They by that point they still didn't have a record deal, when brad tryed to find one he was truned down. So he started this two year 'experiment,' were he would shoot heroin to boost his creativity. In '94 Sublime released their 2nd album Robbin' the 'Hood. When a local radio station got a hold of the song "Date Rape" it was a huge hit, and MCA records asked if they wanted to join them. Bradley had his dreams come true. While on tour he met Troy Dendekker and they started dating. In June of 1995 Brad was a proud father of a baby boy, it seemed like his life was going wonderfully. The pressure of making their 3rd album was to much for brad and his heroin use was getting out of control, he put himself in rehab and with in six months Brad was in control of his life again and he was ready to finish the album. |
