In the past twenty years, we at J Bar Ranch have constantly tried to upgrade our horses by purchasing good stallions with mostly Hancock and Bonanza bloodlines. We are dedicated to producing top quality horses bred for ability, disposition and conformation. Our original stallion "Teddys Rascal" carried the pedigree of Joe Hancock and King. Many of our mares carry Teddys Rascal's pedigree.

We have always loved the Hancock bred horses and it truly was a bonus for us to have a horse that threw the blue and red roan colors. At J Bar it is our goal to keep raising strong, tough horses with good minds.
J Bar Ranch is located just half an hour west of Red Deer Alberta.
From Red Deer approx. twenty miles west on Hwy 11 to R.R.30, then seven and a half miles south. J bar is on the west side of the road.
From Innisfail, we are twenty miles west on Hwy 54 to R.R. 30 and then eight and a half miles north.
