That ATM(debit) card that you use, just may not be as great as you think!
Using a regular credit card, you can dispute any purchase for up to sixty days and you're not held liable for purchases that you didn't make!
With an ATM card, it's as if you gave cash! The money is electronically withdrawn from your account immediately! This means that if you're not happy with your purchase, you must rely on the merchant to be willing to give you a refund or exchange. Worse yet, once someone has the number of your card, they can charge to your card, electronically, whenever they feel like it. If this happens, it's up to you to prove the charge was not authorized, and after a long battle, you may or may not get your money back! If at all possible, only use your debit card at an ATM machine!

Shipping Charges!
Yes, it's true, shipping charges can add to the price of your purchase when buying on-line!
However, look around, a lot of stores offer free shipping if your purchase is over a certain dollar amount. And, usually, if the store that you are buying from is out of state, you're saving the tax you normally pay at your local stores which can make up for the shipping cost. If that's not enough to ease your mind about paying shipping, how about figuring in the cost of the gas you burn running around shopping or the value of the time you save?
