Welcome to my cooking page. Just thought I'd toss up a few of my favorite recipes. I've only got time to put one up now, but I'll add more in the very near future!



Poppy Seed Bread

1 box white cake mix
1-4oz box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup poppy seeds
1/2 cup water
Mix cake mix, pudding, oil and eggs. In a small pan, boil the poppy seeds in the water for 3 minutes to pop the seeds. Add the poppy seeds and water to cake mixture and blend.

Grease and flour 3 medium or 4 small loaf pans. Divide mixture evenly between the pans.

Bake 40-50 minutes at 325 degrees.

Remove from pan and wrap in plastic 1/2 hour after bread has been removed from the oven.





Fettucine with Shrimp, Tomatoes and Basil

1/3 cup olive oil
1 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 large tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/3 cup sliced black olives
3 large garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp. minded shallot
1 tsp. salt and pepper to taste
grated Permesan
12 oz. Basil Fettucine Noodles
Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, tomatoes, basil, olives, garlic, shallot, salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3 minutes. Cook pasta. Toss all together and sprinkle with cheese.
