The band has seen many different line-ups. This was one of the coolest bands, that knocked out numerous hits and always lived up to the image you expcet from such bands.
Ritchie Blackmore was a great guitarist and went on to found the band Rainbow. Ian Gillian on the other hand had a great singing voice 'specially good at screaming!
The current line-up (as far as I'm aware) is Don Airey (keyboards I presume), Ian Gillian (Vocals), Roger Glover (Bass), Steve Morse (Guitar I guess) and Ian Paice (drums still).
