| Bruiser was the funniest sketch show ever made but was stopped after one series. This comedy would've stood a chance of being well known if perhaps the BBC hadn't alternated it with a program that I think was called Blouse and Skirt on Tuesdays and Thursdays at about 11:20pm (a stupid time). The sketches were wacky and quite dark. Noteable funny characters included: a guy who kept walking into shops asking for poison to kill his wife, a James Bond Spoof,a guy whose best friend was Sparky the puppet there were of course many others. Cast: David Mitchell Robert Webb Matt Holness Charlotte Hudson Olivia Colman Martin Freeman Quotes: "Know why I do archery? Cos its pussy on a stick..." "'Do you do any poison.' No jus' shit this is skegness.'" |
