How to Sneak out of the
House for Dummies
Do you have an early curfew? Do you
always listen to your parents' rules, but once in a while you think to
yourself: I want to have some freedom too. So I began to think, I always wanted
to oblige with my parent's rules otherwise they would kick me out of the house.
But I want to be a rebel sometimes too. One night, I wanted to hang out with
some friends for a longer time then my curfew. So I came out with a non failing
plan. The proper technique in sneaking out of your house.
Now, the first step is to always be
prepared for the worst. You never know what could happen. Be prepared to face
all consequences. You should only sneak out if you are willing to take the risk
of getting into trouble, losing privileges, or getting grounded.
When you come home from going out at
night at the time of your curfew, say hi to your parents, or if they are
sleeping, wake them up to say good night. Doing this will
assure them that you are home, and they can now get into a deep sleep.
While arriving home, there are many other things you have to do in order to
prepare for your later adventure.
You must get rid of any noises that
might go off from your movement. You must go around your house during the day
and test out the floors, see where it cracks. If you have an alarm that goes
off or chimes when you open the door, make sure it is
turned off so that your parents don't wake up from the chime or the alarm. If
you have a floor like I do, then your hard wood floor creaks a lot. Previously,
you should have figured out where the floor makes noises. Practice walking
around the house without making noises when no one is home, so you will be
prepared for when you leave. Use your technique. It also helps if you walk
along the wall. I find that the floor does not creak. Make sure your phone is
on silent. If you are walking out of your house and your friends call you to
hurry up, the phone may wake up your parents. Also, make sure you let your
friends know that they must turn off their radio if they are picking you up in
their car. They should also be informed that they should pick you up down the
street.
If you are a girl, change into
spandex pants. If you are a boy, wear a pair of pants that don't make a loud
whooshing noise. Also, wear a t-shirt that you can go to sleep in. This shirt
should be not too big so that people will think it is pajama clothes, but will
also allow you to come inside your house quickly and jump into bed. You should
not wear sandals that drag behind you and make noise. Wear sneakers, and walk
softly.
Another good preparation tip is if
you have a lock on your bedroom door, make sure you
lock it every night including week nights. This will make your parents think
you do it all the time now. They will know not to check on you, and not become
suspicious. Just don't forget the key, or else you will come back home in the
middle of the night and be stuck. What will your parents think? But if you
don't have a lock on your door, make sure you put pillows or clothes under your
blanket to make it look like there is someone in there. Do this just in case
they want to check up on you.
