Baby took me to Yosemite because I¡¦ve never been and it¡¦s like his 5th time going!!!!! Crazy. I told him he should explore other places like Mt. Lassen or Mt. Shasta next time. The camp sites are $20/night. The admission was $20 and it's good for 7 days. ƒº
Let¡¦s see, he always tend to forget stuff and leave it at his brothers so this time he forgot the TARP for the tent. Oh Gee right? I KNEW THAT IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! He bought some fire starters that looked like Macaroons from REI. He loves that store. We brought his friend¡¦s bug/UV block product. It smells Mango-y. We didn¡¦t leave until 9am and on our way we stopped by some Hicksville town to have lunch. The weather wasn¡¦t so bad (warm in the 80s). It was crazy because it takes 45 minutes to get into the Village so we did not shower for two nights. Yes, you heard right!!!!! I was so filthy and I felt disgusted. I took a bubble bath when I came back, thankfully!!!! Yeah! We climbed Tulomne Meadow Grove or something? Most paths are downhill. Not too strenuous but I have been really out of shape. We also checked out Bridalveil and Lower/Upper Yosemite Falls. We saw deer but we did not see any bears! Boo. We went to a ranger camp fire too! The story was boring though. The food we brought were good. Marinated chicken wings, kebobs, skewers, Italian sausage, rice (he always needs his rice!!), soup, spam, peaches, nectarines, and his beer! He bought me a vibrating bear at the Village store. So silly of him! ƒº I was craving potato salad and we bought that too. I also bought two postcards for my postcard girls! Hee Hee. Hmmm. What else? I got miniature bug bites, not as extreme as the ones from Sanya. We went to the Ansel Adams gallery and he picked up a map. We saw two junior rangers being sworn in! That was cute. They picked up trash and were educated about the Park. We saw a deer at Curry Village and I shrieked. Hehe. Sleeping in the quietness of the forest was nice. I loved driving around in the forest during the day time. We decided to spend one day to go to Mono Lake. I¡¦ve never been there before, either has him. He drove 2 hours to get there and we went to the marina, south Tufa¡¦s and just enjoyed our day outdoors. We wanted to go to Bodie (ghost town!) but we didn¡¦t have time. We ate at the Mobil Mart station. The fish tacos and salmon salad were the closest to gourmet we will get. Hee. Hee. We packed up and left in the morning and headed to Livermore to some boutique wineries. We stopped by Tesla Vintners (he bought Singing something Sherzado wine) and I bought a Chardonnay at Garre. It was nice to go to not tourist wineries. ƒº Thanks bunnie for a relaxing trip! We came back and we were craving home style Japanese food so we went to Kitchen Kura. Yummy. Then it was followed by a movie with him and David. Superman Returns! Good movie.
