second day and the rest of my spring break:
i don't exactly remember what i did. we went to have thai food with michelle's friends and sophia's bf and etc people at thai 99 i think. sophia asked if i wanted to help them with there fundraiser which was to raise credit card applications and i opted not to because i had a paper to write. then i met up with them later and they practiced there stroll in one of the halls. the hall we were in was pretty nice. we took pictures and what not. then the group split. some went to have dinner and some went to the downtown area to have dinner at the "hardware store". i met some VTECh guys, some drexel sisters and prat aka cinnamon. i haven't seen her in ages. it was cordial type of "hello/hey man how have you been?".
Hmmm. I think after dinner we might of got some liquor to get ready for the party at some peking garden. i don't remember anymore. ugh. in any case, i watched the girls get primped up with makeup, haircurling iron, nice tank tops, good god that was so funny. kayti laughed at me and said, "yo, the older sis is probably thinking we are so blah blah blah..". it was just funny and reminded me how i was like a couple years ago like them. i took a picture with this adorable sister named bessy aka blaze. later on the vtech sisters came too and i got the chance to meet them. sophia was busy chauffering people to the party so i was basically deserted at the apt. susan aka libertine drove me to the party/restaurant. i was outside and called waisum a few times complaining to her about my misery being stuck at a young party. :P
the rest of the other nights
sophia once again left me in one of the computer labs so i can do research while she had a group meeting. but earlier we had brunch at the tavern i think that is what is called in charlottesville. it started snowing, can you believe that? we went as in me, sophia, michelle and virginia. i thought it was really cool like a big sib/little sib kind of event. it made it more intimate and personal. :) thanks for treating us to brunch little ones! :)
oh and i went to a function one night. i met the 7 girls pledging from uva. we had a potluck dinner/lunch with them too before the hiphop show/stomp show. sophia also cooked bimbimbop which was really good too!
goal of this trip:
to strength the bond between my relationship with sophia, the other sigmas that i have never met. despite the fact i could've gone elsewhere for my spring break, i wanted to visit sophia since she was graduating this spring. she's been a good godlittle to me ^_^* and done a lot for this organization.
