Utah, Arizona, Las Vegas -
We went to Antelope Canyon (Upper Antelope canyon). We basically made reservations the day of the trip. You will see many native Indian signs offering you to view the canyon. It was $30/per person I think. It was pretty cold so they gave us blankets and such. Then we were loaded on these huge trucks into the sandy area. There were crevices basically by walking in, you will see sun hit certain points of the canyon. The best time to go is around noon but since we were crunched for time, we went around 930am.
This is by no means in chronological order.
We landed in Las Vegas first then drove to Lake Powell, Mt Zion, and Bryce Canyon. We stayed one night at a bed and breakfast. You may find these places on my reviews. It was still a tad cold. I think the best place or the most memorable place for me was Bryce canyon because we walked all the way down to the Thors Hammer/Sunset Point where it was still icey and slippery.
In Lake Powell we were already craving some Asian food. We paid so much for it but we were craving rice. Haha. We stayed at a chain hotel. Not so bad.
A lot of driving, car rental but I think it was worth it.
We stayed at Planet Hollywood the last night and went to Mesa Grill which some of us got sick b/c of the smoke. It was just nice to walk around but of course there are always factors that get in the way.
We didn't go to Paria Vermillon Cliffs because we did not get in the lottery. They only allott 30 people per day to visit this place. In the beginning, my motivation was to come to this place to visit but knowing that we could not get in, we decided to check out the bigger national parks instead.
