Baby took some time off after X'mas to take me down to SB for a 3 day jaunt. We've been planning it since Oct or Nov? I told him I've never been to a B&B before so a B&B place is where we stayed. We couldnt decide if we wanted Mendicino county or San Luis Obispo or SB. We decided on SB because Medicinio county would be too cold. I wanted to stay at this french B&B called Petit Sola or something like that in SLO but I really wanted some place warm!

Our pick was the Eagle Inn in SB. It was perfect. We got a king size bed with a whirlpool and a fireplace to go with it. It was also only 2 blocks walking distance from the beach. Baby drove down and it was a nice drive down b/c we stopped to see Missions, stopped at two wineries: La Fond (which was snooty and Cotton Canyon which I liked a lot!). Then we had dinner on State STreet at Pascucci's. Dont go there b/c the service was horrible b/c it was disorganzied and the food wasn't all that great.

we went to the botanical garden which was rip off b/c there was practically NOTHING except for a pussywillow and twig bulit home to see. We also went to visit another mission and drove/walked around. We went to Brophy brothers for lunch and wlaked up to El Encanto hotel. Baby was going to have dinner for us there b/c it was on top of a hill and it overlooked SB. Very romantic setting.

At night, we went to Bouchon instead which was greattttttt. We had happy hour at SB brewery. I had a good experience there. We had the Ojai syrah and somethign else. The food was really good. I am in love iwth mushrooms now. I had lampchops and he had the steak.

We woke up and headed to Firestone winery that day...then we drove home. He found out that I got him a gift...luckily he opened it that night when it arrived at his doorstep.
