Antonio Carlos Jobim: This is certainly one of the best on-line resources about the brilliant Brazilian Composer/ Musician that I have come across on the Internet. It contains a bio and also the words to many of his more popular songs. Loads of pictures also, so be patient for loading. It is maintained by a European fan and is in french as well as english. CD Connections: I have found this page to be a terrific and reliable source of information when researching Jazz CD's to purchase online or at my local CD store.
AMG:The All Music Guide. This site contains bios and discographies of most jazz people. Very handy when researching albums that may be out of print. Bobby Hackett: This page contains a detailed biography of the late trumpeter/ cornetist extrodinare. Bobby was said to be Louie Armstrong's favorite trumpet player. Bobby was also highly respected by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Jobim once said Bobby's interpretation of (Jobim's) "Meditation" was the best Jobim had ever heard.
Dave McKenna: This is a great bio/ discography page of the worlds truly amazing jazz piano genius, Dave McKenna. This page is maintained by Rick and Antita Pollak. My Day Job. under construction

Indeed the Best Kept Secret of
the Northern Rhode Island , Southern Massachusetts Jazz Community!
Chet Baker Home Page- If you're a Chet Baker fanatic like myself, this page was put together by a real dedicated fan. It's obvious that Mr. Bloom has put a great deal of effort into this combination bio and most complete discography page. If you are a Chet Baker fan, then this is a must see site!! If you're not a Chet Baker fan, let me recommend a two cd set that will change your mind:
"Chet Baker In Tokyo", recorded live on June 14, 1987
(EVIDENCE ECD 22158-2). Harold Danko on piano, Hein Van Der Geyn on bass, and John Engels on drums. Certainly some of Chet's best trumpet playing. The recording quality is excellent compared to the large quantity of his material with horrible sound quality.
