Untitled

Memories too numerous to list
pass before my eyes.
I wonder what she's doing now
as I drift
lost
in the past.
It will never be again.
She has seen to that.
True love is not a switch
to be thrown, or thrown away.
Too much has passed between us,
we pass now, like ships in the night.
She was my world, my light, my heaven on earth.
Now she is my Hell.
