Bio
Jon was given his first guitar by his Grandfather at age 12. By 13 he was playing in a KISS Tribute Band named Dynasty. Jon continued through more bands eventually shifting from classic rock to progressive and jazz styles as his need for pushing the limits grew. He attended Interlochen Fine Arts Camp in 2003 were he studied with Jazz Saxophonist/Composer Bob Mintzer. He then quit his band focusing on soloistic technique and performance when he decided to team up with Bassist Ron Thieleman and Drummer Matt Hurley to create JFE. Jon plans to attend either the Manhattan School of Music or Berklee School of Music for Guitar Performance.
