Ron and I leave tonight for Oakland, CA. Cookie has a hotel room reserved for us then Monday morning we catch our charter flight along with other cookies�..we stop over in Dallas to pick up more cookies then we are off to the islands of Turks and Caicos!!! Thanks to Cookie Lee we will be enjoying an all inclusive vacation in the sun and sand with lots of good friends!!! WOO HOO!!! Just think�next year at this time we will be talking about the cruise that ALL of us will be on together! WOO HOO!!! This next paragraph I typed up while on the airplane with my daughter Jennifer and her friend Melissa�we were on our way to MN� Here I am sitting on the airplane with two ballerinas. We are on our way to MN for their brand new life! They are so cute with their headsets on as they dance in their seats. The excitement is building, the tears are less than they were an hour ago when we said our goodbyes. I�m sure they will experience all kinds of emotions this year and I am so excited for them I can hardly stand it! They say that the temperature is 80 Degrees in MN right now and that makes me very happy! Yesterday I attended our Senior Director meeting via conference call. There are so many changes coming for us with Clee! For those of us who want to make the Cookie Lee business work for us I know we will adapt and learn to make the most out of what we are given. I have full faith in John and Cookie and I just know they have our best interests in mind. We will be learning about our new compensation plan on the Turks and Caicos trip so I will be able to share that with you when I return! One new change that we all will LOVE is the new and improved web site they have planned for us! We will be able to send ecards and have official email formats with the Cookie Lee logo. We will have an online address book for our customers and will be able to track our leads easily! Our unit reports will be easier to read and manipulate which is something I know all of us will appreciate. Our customers will be able to text message us from our web site. We will have more freedom concerning our personal web site. We will be able to feature certain items and specials if we want. All in all I think for those of us who realize the importance of the internet will truly be grateful. There will be a pavilion at convention with stations for us to individually try it out. |

CONVENTION! ARE YOU REGISTERED? Are you earning your free registration? Check the clee site for details! The excitement for convention is building and if you haven�t yet registered I highly urge you to do it ASAP! This is the fastest filling convention to date. You do not want it to sell out before you get a chance to register. Anybody who has attended convention will tell you the impact it will make on not only your business, but in your personal life as well. There are plenty of people to share rooms with so please let me know if you need a roommate. We will need to pack our tissue for sure! When I watch you girls accept your awards as you walk across the stage I will be snapping pictures with teary eyes and full of pride. The bonding we have for each other we mostly have done long distance and when we are at convention all together, the bond is even stronger. The feeling is so amazing and I would hate for any of you to miss out on the experience of our wonderful unit! Thursday night of convention Executive Directors Erin Wilson, Tammy Lowder, Jenny Sprenger, and I will be hosting a pizza party for our entire unit in our suites. This is open to Erin�s entire unit! You girls need to realize the royalty you belong to, it�s absolutely amazing! Awards and Recognition! Do you want to be walking across that stage at convention accepting you award? NOW IS THE TIME to focus on making sure you qualify for those awards! JUNE 30th IS THE DEADLINE! You must promote or have your qualification in by June 30th to receive awards and recognition at convention! Make your plan and achieve your goals! |

ASSOCIATE TRAINING! As you all know, I am an Associate Trainer. I led my first 2nd Saturday training in May! I was sad that nobody from my unit was there, but I had the support of my husband. He was my helper for the morning. He signed everybody in�gave out raffle tickets, schmoozed with the cookie sisters, and pretty much did whatever I told him to, LOL IT WAS GREAT! Husbands love this business because it totally works. Not only are we making money to help out in the monthly household bills, but when we are happy, they are happy. It makes SO MUCH SENSE!!! I had so much fun doing the training. Thanks go out to all of you who helped me out by being a part of my conference call. The topic was so excellent! Something that is very close to my heart�.�quality versus quantity�. We really need to focus on building a unit of people who want to work the business. As we have learned�John and Cookie are rewarding those leaders who develop leaders. I have a feeling that the new comp plan will follow suit. If you are a unit manager and above, think about applying for associate trainer. I am planning on applying for National Trainer once I become Exec. Director. Being an Associate Trainer is such GREAT practice for me! I also was able to help with the showroom tour last month. I did the orientation and answered questions. From my tour 6 people signed up that day! WOO HOO!!! I have been asked to do this next one! I LOVE IT! If you have any questions on how to become an Associate Trainer, just call or email me! |
