Song Writing Background

I started writing songs in 2001 or 2002 (can't recall). I remembered that I saw my brother and his

friends writing a song to enter a Battle of The Bands competition. The title was called King Of My Own,

I think. Anyways, I thought to myself, if my brother can write, why can't I? That's how I got started.

'Interesting' facts:

- I was once a wedding singer, just for that one time. And I was paid!

- I am or rather, was a member of an a cappella group called the Rainmakers. Why? Because every time we have our practice session,

it rains. I know, I know, the name’s lame but it means something to us though. We had two official public performances,

and it was alot of fun..

- I’m a self-taught guitarist. I’ve never attended a proper lesson. The only chords I know are C, D, E, F, G, A, Em, and Am.

I pick up bits and pieces by observing and experimenting it on my own.

- I was a trumpeter in a marching band back in primary school.

- I have two properly-studio-recorded mandarin songs. I also did some backup vocals for some local Chinese artist.
