About the Artist...

Zorina London

Singer * Dancer * Actress

Zorina London was born in Louisiana and raised in San Francisco. By the age of 17, she had won her first beauty pageant and was one of the Sal Watts Dancers on a local television program 7 the Barbara Davis Varity Show. She then became a professional model after graduating from the Barbara Davis School of Modeling. Early in Ms. London's career she visited the studio to record, "Fats Gaines Presents Zoriria." Her versatility as a singer has earned her opening billing for such performers as Carol Channing, The Whispers, Big Mama Thorton, Felipe Wynn and Tower of Power's Lenny Williams, to name a few. San Francisco's Mayor Willie Brown calls her his "favorite singer."

James Brown the Godtather of soul himself adopted Zorina as she toured with Mr. Brown as his lead back-up vocalist and dancer. It was he who dubbed her as, "the hardest working woman in show business." "Top Female Vocalist of the Year" by the San Francisco Bay Area Top Star Awards, This lady does it all!! Zorina has performed around the world as a solo artist and with her own band, 'V 'n' Z', in top venues in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Finland and Pads. This entrepreneur entertainer has also hosted her own television show "Making a Difference in the Western Addition."

Zorina is an established artist having an endless list of professional, corporate and private accolades to her credits. From Playboy Bunny to "Top Female Vocalist of the Year" by the San Francisco Bay Area Top Star Awards.

Ms. London made her first acting debut at the Lorraine Hansberry Theater in James Baldwin's, "The Amen Corner" directed by Danny Duncan. Cast to portray Josephine Baker in a musical tribute, "Josephine", this multi talented artist wants to do it all. Movie Credits include "Metro" and "Dr. Dolitde" with Eddie Murphy "A Smile Like Yours" and "One Thousand Brides." Ms. London is also the featured vocalist on "Sax By The Bay", an audio CD by legendary jazz saxophonist Yil Ospay. Furthermore, she has released a single, "Thing 4 U" and her latest CD, "A Thing For You" featuring her versatility as a Cabaret, Jazz, R& B, Blues, Rock and Pop entertainer. The founder of the six sensational singers the Sassy Divas continually had sold out performances at the Plush Room in San Francisco's York Hotel.

This leggy, sultry, engaging artist is truly a pleasure to see and hear. Ms. London's vibrancy is intoxicating and when she isn't singing, dancing or acting, she does print and ramp modeling. President and founder of "Bombshells on Runway;" a new breed of voluptuous ramp models.
