Dave's Visitors Book |
|
|
|
As fortunate tenants of such a beautiful, well kept and popular house, we couldn't let the opportunity slip, so we bought a visitors book. Visitors were made to sign this book, if they refused, Josh got his baseball bat out. Here are some highlights. |

"The house of homosexual delight was an experience - thanks boys, But next time don't show me your savaloys - they smell of kebabs. Lots of love xxxx" - Danni, Minstead Rd. 03/09/03
Typical Danni, her frequent accusations that we were homosexual were just her way of showing affection (Or what psychologists call, projection.) |

"The yellow paint on the mirror, enough said..." - M@ 108 Hillaries Rd. 07/10/03
Matt there in reference to the unusual fireplace feature which sadly no longer exists. |

"I came in peace boys. Do not judge me for my hooligan housemates - you must admit they are geniuses though!? Hope I will be present for the next war of fun. Oh and nice house by the way. I particularly admire the food on the walls, classy!! Love you all xxx" - Pixie Vix (Burleigh Ho) Burliegh House, 153 Minstead Road 13/10/03
The gorgeous Vicky James in reference to some early running street battles with eggs and water which of course our house won. The fun however escalated into blind violence and culminated in food on windows, bleach through letter boxes, and offensive remarks plastered on walls. |

"Came, bleached, left." - Sarah, Bourneville Chocolate Factory, 26/02/04
Sarah Bruntissimo, car expert, etyomologist, Umpa Lumpa and genuinely nice person was often around for hair styling, fun & games + advice. |

"Thanks lads it's been emotional. I'm liking the green cushion in the lounge - keep up the good work. You're all a bunch of tarts. Especially Anton." - John Cheetham, 2 Frances Road Erdington, 18/06/04
Cheetham was widely regarded as a myth and legend, and more often than not, a comedy merchant. It's a shame he wasn't around more often, but that's what you get for fraternising with folks from UCE. |

"Best house I've ever seen. The highlights was when we were featured on MTV cribs. We did trash the place but it was for a reason: fun! I'll miss the house. Peace xxxxx - Me, 18/06/04
We may have been the tenants, but more accurately, we were just extended visitors. The visitor book couldn't go without some inclusion from the 'Boys of Aston.'

"Love the house. Can cope with the people on occassion. I think the best room is on the third floor. The purple and yellow create peace and tranquility, ruined only by the bastards who live below (physically and metephorically.) In a year that has brought controversy and bloodshed, we have all benefited from one man, James Stone (legend). Miss everyone 4eva x" - Ant "Fat Tony" Todino

"Massive thanks to the lecturer James Stone, the proprietor of quality housing for students. Blood flying, lights exploding, music pounding. It was a fantastic life for what was, 90% of the time, a holiday. Wish I had more time to enjoy the Summer Love in Birmingham.... the people made it, The house topped it. Love the world xxx"

"I resign my presidential post on the ethnic equality council and I am now running for the electoral position on the arms committee in the Republic on Congo." - Arif Sayeed, Peterborough.
Perhaps we will never fully know what Arif meant by this entry in the visitors book. |
