"And we're dancin', and it feels alright..."
My Dance Picture Page
This is a picture of "Dancin' Dan" from the musical Fosse.
Some Tap dancers, which is one of the types of dance I do.
Even though I'm not the biggest Ballet fan, this picture, from the San Fransico Ballet is absolutely gorgeous.  To me, it represents what dance is all about.  The movement and the spirit of the music.
This picture, from Centerstage is an awesome shot of a toe touch with a little Jazz modification..  I so cannot do these!  They are harder than they look!
Also from Fosse, this is a picture of the number "Big Spender."  It's a little racy, but it's a classic.
Honestly, I have no idea where this came from, but I really adore the choreography shown here.  See how the lines of the arms showcase the emotion of the piece?  This type of arm/body posture has become quite popular in modern dance.
Ok, so it's not the greatest picture of them all, but this, yet again from Fosse, is a very famous pose.  Bob Fosse had an amazing style in his dancing and choreography. It's wonderfully unique.
