| The Hatchery |
| A small blue dragon hisses at you as you enter, then realises you mean no harm and catches herself. "I am Lethe, Guardian of the Hatchery," she says by way of introduction. "This is where all the eggs are brought to hatch, and also where most of the baby beasties are to be found. Once we find out a bit about them and we're sure they're not going to attack each other, they can go out into other sections of the Caves...." |

| In a corner of the hatchery, you spot Ripley, surrounded by discarded milk bottles and accompanied by a small, redheaded boy with a cat's ears and tail. "This is Lukas," she says somewhat breathlessly. "He just came to join us from Milky Way, and he's a bit traumatised by all the travel, I think... leastways, he doesn't want any milk, that's for sure!" |
