Easiest thing in the world. First, go to http://discworld.imaginary.com/login.html. There are three available options of logging onto the Disc - Telnet, Java Client or Other Clients. If you don't have a client like GMud or ZMud or ROA Client or whatever, the Java Client would be your best bet, so just click on the link and you're set to begin playing :) As for Telnet, well, at this point, I'd like to tell you about my long-standing policy: Never Use Telnet (NUT). Unless you have absolutely NO OPTIONS left. It is SCUM. Besides the fact that you can't see what you're typing until it comes out on the MUD (at which point you realize that you're spouting utter gibberish), it's slow, unreliable, absolutely intolerable, doesn't support colour text, and is basically a Complete Utter Waste Of Time. There's no better way to discourage yourself from MUDding than to use Telnet.

THE JAVA CLIENT

I hope that helped some...:) Java Clients are usually the best option for people who can't be stuffed downloading clients, or people who don't want their lives complicated by additional features like triggers, buttons etc. For those who do want this complication, read on :)

ZMUD

TELNET

Don't bother.
