Welcome to Polystyrene Games! This site was created by Polystyrene Man, who also refuses to give you his real name (why would you want to know anyways?) This site, as you have probably noticed, is 100% free because I am cheap. Wicked cheap. I still haven't registered Game Maker. On your left you will see games and tutorials/examples that I have created using a software called Game Maker. Are you interested in trying out this software for yourself? There are links on the right. Visit some of the other sites as well. My newest game is Absolute Zero, an action platformer with a graphic style inspired by 'N'. It has twenty five levels of grueling gameplay, a storyline, and a boss at the end. Download it today! My current project is a sequel to "A Day in the Life of Bob", a popular life simulator remeniscent of Jones in the Fast Lane, Stick RPG, and The Sims. The WIP is appropriately titled "A Day in the Life of Bob 2". Developement will be slow for the next few weeks, as finals are rapidly approaching and track season is starting to heat up. In the meantime go ahead and play the first version, then marvel at the greatness of the second one when it eventually comes out. This page is somewhat bare right now, but keep checking in because I hope to expand it. Keep in mind that I'm not trying to create the next 64Digits here, I just want a space to store all of my games and examples.

Miner!
Release Date: April 9, 2006 Type: Adventure Platform Description: Miner! was my second attempt at a platform game, and the first one I considered good enough to release to the community. The game is incomplete, as I have given up on it. I intended for there to be a storyline, 4 bosses, and 40 levels of gameplay. Instead there are 2 bosses, and 30 levels of gameplay. The graphics are very high quality, and the engine is smooth despite this being one of my earlier games. I have also released the editable, which can be found under "Tutorials" (see Platform Example). Gyroscope Release Date: April 12, 2006 Type: Puzzle Platform Description: My inspiration for Gyroscope, as you may have guessed, was simply a gyroscope. Anyone who has toyed around with one knows about their gravity-defying stunts. They are a great thing to play around with. This puzzle platformer is complete, comes with several unlockables, and is very fun. There are 10 levels, plus another 10 unlockable levels, making 20 in all. This game got second place in a contest at GameMaker-Dev.com (see link above). A Day in the Life of Bob Release Date: April 2, 2006 Type: Life Simulator/RPG Description: The inspiration for this game came from many other games, such as StickRPG, Jones in the Fast Lane, and The Sims. The game is never-ending, has great graphics, and has many options. Do you want to live the life of a lazy bum or become the next Bill Gates? It all depends on which path you choose. A sequel is currently being made. Absolute Zero Release Date: May 15, 2006 Type: Action Platform Description: With a graphic style inspired by N, this game has 25 levels of very smooth gameplay, a good storyline, secret rooms, and a final boss. It is my newest game. It is very difficult until you get the hang of it, and so I have included the ability to set the difficulty. Try it out!
