| The scene of the crime had no evidence of blood or a weapon. The bicycles and clothing of the boys were in the ditch or creek with the boys, held down by sticks. The water erased all traces of evidence. The sticks were not collected by the police at the time, but 6 months later, they went and got sticks from the area, stating that those were the ones used in the crime. Two pairs of the boys underwear were missing. The only signs of blood were where the bodies were lying after police removed them from the water. An area of the bank was cleared out and one imprint of a tennis shoe was found. |
