The Confession
Jessie Misskelley was brought in for questioning on June 3, 1993. During the severl hours of his undocumented questioning, Jessie confessed to the murders and named Damien and Jason a accomplices.

Jessie claims that he was approached by police and offered a reward for information about the murders. When he was questioned, the police did not have a copy of Jessie's Miranda Rights, signed by his father because he was a minor.

Jessie's details of this confession, do not match the facts of the case, but the judge allows it to be used as evidence in the case against Damien and Jason.

During the confession, police asked Jessie if he were a part of a cult, and he said he was for about three months. Activities of this cult included orgies and initiations, which included killing and eating dogs.

Jessie changed his story as the time went on. None of his accusations matched what the police had already known, but they didn't care. They wanted to pin it on Damien, and Jessie was their key to doing so.

Jessie's confession was false and coerced by the police. He was lead to answer a lot of quiestions the way the police wanted him too. They used intimidating methods to get him to answer.
