Mehndi
is a traditional art form of applying Heena on the body, which is
widely used temporary body decoration (More like temporary
Tattoo). This decoration is mainly used during marriages and also
during other traditional functions.
Mehndi
is made from a shrub called 'Hawsonia Inermis'
commonly known as Heena. This plant is commonly found in India.
The leaves of this plant are dried & powdered then mixed with
water then applied on the hands & feet. The portion when dried
leaves a temporary Reddish color which is there on the body for a period
of 10 to 15 days.
