| Here is a running log of my best timeslips from all the recent times I have run the truck. I hope you learn alot from these slips like I have. I have learned what mods work and what doesn't work. Click on the slips to get a larger picture of them. |

Here is my best run from when I started to keep track of these things. I ran this time at Speedworld Motorplex. It is about 1300 ft above sea level so not really a good baseline place to start but better than nothing. The mods I had on this run were 3.42 gears with Zexel Torsion posi, JBA headers, K&N cone filter, removed TB spacer, Flowmaster 40 series with turndown, HPP III, and a ported MAF sensor. |

Well, here is the next run I made after I went to Speedworld. This run was made at SIR in Tucson about 3100 ft above sea level. At Speedworld I felt that the truck didn't run well, because of the ported MAF sensor on it. I removed that and put the entire stock intake assembly back on the truck and boy it felt a ton better. I have a K&N drop in filter in the airbox with a 3 inch hole cut in the side of it. My 60' times weren't real good here, but with altitude and 60' time taken into consideration, the truck was just as fast in Tucson as it was in Phoenix. Starting to make up ground. |

Yes, I knew the truck was capable of a getting into the 15's. I ran this run at SIR as well, and boy did I have to do alot of rat chasing to get this one. I was having a major problem with the plug wires getting burned up from the header heat, and couldn't figure out why. Well, I finally figured out it was the cat. After removing the cat the SES light came on as expected, no big deal at least we know why it is on. I also put a Poweraid TB spacer on there with MSD 8.5 wires. The truck runs really strong now. I lost alittle low end, but the truck just comes alive in the top end, well not really but alot better than before. I ran 16.0's and low 16.1's all night, I just busted loose this run at the end of the evening. |

I thought the truck would run really good, and it just died in the top end again! I found an individual that was selling the Granitelli Mass Air Sensor off his truck because he was selling the truck so I thought it was a perfect chance to pick up something cheap. Well, it really hurt me bad. That is the best run I could get all night, and they were never consistant at all. With that 60' time I should have at least run on par with my 15.9 run, but I fell off almost 3 tenths. I am begining to wonder if I the sensor needs to be recalibrated for my truck? I emailed Granitelli, and we will see. Other than that the stock unit is going right back on there. |

Well, here is my best run yet dated as of 9 Feb 02. This is my first time running the truck after the T56 swap, the 2/3 drop and the step shaver kit. Truck really pulls hard through 2nd and 3rd gears. I did have one run that the trap reached almost 90 mph but the ET was only 15.6, as you can see from the my 60' time, traction outta the hole is a big issue, still haven't figured out how to launch it, oh well maybe more weight in the back will help. |

Lastest and greatest runs so far. I was hoping to get into the 14's but no dice. The Virginia air is alot better than the Arizona air but lady luck wasn't with me. Too much humidity in the air even though it was pretty cool out for being the middle of June. Only nex mods for this run is the addition of a MSD 6AL box. Helped lowend quite a bit but didn't do squat up top. |

Well, finally got my 14's. Had to install 4.10's in the rear to do it but I finally got it. The truck might have mid 14's in it with slicks, but there probiably isn't much more hp to be gained with the V6 with stock internals |
