The Girls:
Aaron and I were roommates 3 of our 4 years of college. He is inch for inch my tallest friend, standing 6'8" tall. Aaron is currently teaching at a Christian school in Florida and I'm sure Iowa will be a nice break from all of that sun and sand. Thanks for keeping in touch, Aaron.
Dave was one of my best friends while I was growing up in Wales. We remained friends througout my years in the UK despite his dislike for my Kansas City Chiefs. I want to thank Dave for taking the time and money to fly over from Wales for my wedding.
Jerry was on the same floor as I was in the dorms at Baptist Bible College. I sang in his wedding in December of 1999 and Jerry's gift to us is not singing in ours (just kidding, buddy). Congratulations to Jerry and his wife Mindy on their new baby!
I met Allen at BBC as well and we went to the same church together in Springfield. Allen is currently in a singing group at the college and I appreciate him taking a weekend off from travelling to be at our wedding. A church somewhere is missing a blessing.
Addie has been my roommate at SBU for the last three semesters. She recently changed her major to English but she still plays the trumpet in Symphonic Winds. We have become very close friends and I will always cherish that special moment at Dairy Queen--Thanks, Addie.
Another fellow music major at SBU, Sarah and I have been good friends since our first semester in college. She plays saxophone in Winds and is very involved in the music department. Sarah has always been a great encourager and I have enjoyed our many lenghty chats about life, love, and other mysteries.
Emily and I were the only girls of the 9 grandkids in the Prudhoe family. We were childhood playmates, usually received the same gifts for Christmas, and did everything together. Now is no exception--Emily will be marrying her high school sweetheart on June 2nd, 4 weeks before our wedding.
Kathy is my best friend from high school. She is an excellent pianist and is currently majoring in music at Drake University in Des Moines. I have lots of great memories of our days at Roosevelt High School, and I am glad she will be standing with me on the most important day of my life.
