After completing this course and successfully finishing different types of writings, I feel that I have gained more than I expected from this class. I first became interested in the subject manner of how the media affects women and their self images because it frustrates me how the media portrays women. I was actually unaware at how many studies had been done and what a huge topic this is. However, I am happy that so many people show interest in this subject because something obviously needs to be done. Just by having many people aware of the circumstances, is the first step to making an issue stop. Even though this class is over, I will continue to work hard to make more people aware of the destructive media and hopefully put an end to its deadly influence.
I have to
say that I am most pleased with my research paper as I feel that it vividly
expresses the message that I am trying to send, however, it is all facts- no
fiction whatsoever. All in all, though, this class has made me realize that the
smallest effort can make a difference as long as one feels passionately about
something.
