Top 5 Michelle Pfeiffer Costar

Note: If there are some notable omissions, it’s either I haven’t seen the film yet or haven’t seen it recently that might’ve influenced my decision not to include them.

5. Jessica Lange (A Thousand Acres)

Jessica Lange and Michele Pfeiffer gave tour de force performances. They are both radiant in the screen and they shared some beautiful scenes together. Both of them should’ve at least got nominated for an Academy Award.

4. Robert Redford (Up Close and Personal)

Even though Redford was a little old for the role, he was a great costar to Pfeiffer. In fact it was reminiscent of those old fashioned Hollywood romances.

3. George Clooney (One Fine Day)

Great chemistry between the two and Clooney knows how to keep up with Pfeiffer. He held his own.

2. Daniel Day Lewis (The Age of Innocence)

This is a dream come true. I’m glad that at least once in their careers their paths crossed and made this masterpiece. I would like to see them team up again in a modern setting and not in a period movie for a change.

1. Jeff Bridges (The Fabulous Baker Boys)

Their chemistry is still the best after dozens of costars. What I like about their chemistry is that they are both enigmas. They complement each other well and most importantly they have that equal strength, elusiveness and presence. Compared to let’s say Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford, they just can’t keep up with Pfeiffer. She is overpowering them in their respective scenes together that made her easily stole the movie from her leading men. From the quiet scenes to the confrontation scenes, you can feel that Bridges and Pfeiffer are on the same page.
