FLYING WITH ANGELS
We had a wonderful two weeks holiday in Lanzarote. We were returning to the UK and our ‘plane was gradually descending to land at Birmingham Airport. It was early evening in late November and beneath us we could see the vast area of Birmingham lit up, stretching out into the distance, and rows and rows of car headlights on the roads and motorways.
The lights on the ‘plane dimmed and our ears popped again. I felt vaguely uneasy. I really do not like the taking off and landing. This is a good time to use my Reiki symbols. All about me I could feel a lot of tension.
I closed my eyes and began to meditate. Almost immediately I could see our ‘plane from the outside. To my great surprise, I could see many angels along each wing and around the cockpit. They looked as though they were concentrating and then conversing with one another. Their long light garments and flowing hair were blowing out behind them.
This must be my imagination, I thought. Right away a reply to my scepticism was firmly implanted in my mind.
“Have you never, ever wondered why there are so very few air traffic accidents? Just think of how many flights there are day and night, every day, every night, all the time, all over your world. Many are flying almost continually over hugely populated cities and towns. Look where many of your airports are situated! We are here to protect you. This is our element. You are enfolded in our love.”
I will never be worried about flying again!

ANGELIC HELP
I really feel a guidance to write a story, encouraging people no matter what their circumstances and problems may be not to be frightened of asking the angels to help them. As I have discovered in my own life the angels can help and guide us, even send signs and appear in human ways all of which I have experienced. I really feel guided to tell part of that story to encourage people not to give up hope. Where my experiences start takes me back to December 2003. After being alone for 6 years, after a marriage failure, financially deep in debt an unhappy work situation, and spiritually not quite sure what to believe, all brought me to a point of despair and certainly a feeling of wanting to give up. After reading a magazine giving encouragement to ask the angels for help, I decided to do exactly this and not long after this step of faith the situation started to improve. I had the strength to tackle debt problems, and even learned more about financial control. Work started to improve and in the year of 2004 I met up with Penny a lady friend who I had not seen for 2 years, who rang me to say she had some colliery band CDs of mine which I had left at her home and she wondered if I wanted them back. After making a visit to collect them we decided to start seeing each other and started a relationship. During the year of 2005 we booked a holiday to go away on the 25Th September but after a few months we decided to cancel it and apply for a home together through the local council. On the 25th September that year we were moving in to a wonderful one bedroom bungalow, overlooking wonderful countryside. When we moved into the home we both felt a wonderful peace. At that point Penny showed me a gift which was a collection of angel figures that I didn't know she had and Penny's words were I too believe in the angels. I have lots more experiences of how the angels can help and protect and give us a wonderful peace and this has brought me to a point where I not only give thanks but recognize the importance of angels being in our lives. Once again the encouragement is by simply asking the angels for help we can receive the guidance we need in our everyday lives.
