| Date: 28th May Venue: Earls Court Other Info: SClub juniors there. Mark�s birthday. Well. First there were men crawling around the set. Then, these big bag ball shaped things came down. They came up as the house light�s went down to reveal globes. These globes went up and out, before opening with a member of Westlife in each. Westlife, on wires, come out of them and fly down to the stage. The first song World Of Our Own is sang, them running round the stage and stopping in each of the star corners. Marks hair � ok. Mad! Next song Bop Bop Baby another great one. The crowds are going mad. Bryan is already starting to be a bit silly, but isn�t he cute? Him and Kian mess around a bit. Kian is definitely gay � we think. Then Shane welcomes us and Kian says �It�s good to be back.� Then they kick back into action with Why Do I Love You. After this Westlife disappear, there are dancers going round with Nicky WOOO type hats. Next song Bad Girls it�s a really cool song! Ok � Westlife now go and change from long black and red cloaks to black and white suits, while they are changing you see a little backstage (pre-recorded) thing of them changing for the song and Shane is looking really yummy. In no time they�re back on and it�s time for Uptown Girl which is really good, and Shane is being rather nice. After Kian says thanks for buying this single as it was for Comic relief and helped lots of people. Then we sing happy birthday Mark. Then they introduce the next song saying �We wanted a song from the 1st and second album. So what do we do Shane?� �We put them together!� And on comes What Makes A Man/Swear It Again. Then they move onto If I Let You Go which I don�t catch all off because the people behind are moaning that I cannot stand on my chair, but I do still. I just take my �Shane! I just can�t get you out of my head� banner down. The Mark asks if we like the stage and he moans we ain�t loud enough, so after screaming are heads off they decide to sing Angel with Kian in the middle of the stage with a piano and the other stood round singing. At the end of the song, they stay in the middle and it goes down. The come back on after watching dancers in cool colour outfits. All looking great! The all Have Nicky WOOO sticks and twirl them round a lot as they sing Imaginary Diva which is a great number and everyone seems to like it! Ok, after that, it If You�re Hearts Not In It and on the big screen, while he�s not singing you can see Shane. He�s looking seriously lovely doing this cute faces. It really nice and everyone is screaming! Then they go off stage (again, sadly) but are soon back on and doing The Rock and Roll Medley! This is one grooving bit of the show and everyone�s singing and dancing � (one bad thing � even parents!) but it�s a great section. They start on the middle thing but half way through they�re all messing around and running round the stage in a group and being silly and it�s really cool. It kicks off with Jail House Rock, moving onto Build Me Up Buttercup, Brown eyed girl, im not sure of the name of the next one but someone said it was Gotta Get something started, and then sadly it�s the last one, the last bit of mad dancing its Bohemian Rhapsody, with even madder dancing and they�re all running round the stage singing � Bryan and Kian at one point being left behind, going round in their own way. It finishes with them all laying down in the middle except Mark and going down. Then. It�s not long and Westlife are back on stage. They sing Queen Of My Heart in some new cool outfits. Then after Westlife get a fan from the front row with a bandaged arm called Emily up on stage to sing My Love. Stools appear and they all sit down, apart from Bryan who crouches down by Emily who�s on his stool. Bryan looks after her, giving her his jacket thing and showing off his blue t-shirt and jeans. Bryan stays with Emily and get�s her to sing his verse. Then at the end of the song she get�s a kiss from them all and Bryan takes his jacket back. The move onto Flying Without Wings where they all stand in the middle and move out towards the end. Then they all say it�s time to go, thank the musicians and the fans and each do a speech. There is a longer break than normal and fans leave. But they come back! The next song is I Cry and this is another good one. After a long wait, it was worth while! Then Westlife disappear again, but not for as long. The come back minutes later, connected to wires. Fireworks everywhere, even coming out of the top of the guitar! Westlife fly over the crowd, Mark was above me (Shane � why not you?) and they sang the final song When You�re Looking Like That. They where all showing off, somersaulting and everything. They must feel sick! Then that was it. Over. Until next time � ciao Westlife! |
