So What Now?
There is life after Virgin Atlantic....

Between being made redundant and New Year I shopped!  Hey, it was Christmas, what else was a girl to do!!

January saw me job-hunting, which was successful.  I started a new job on February 4th 2002.  It was very different to what I have been used to, and as hard as I tried, it just wasn't for me.  I gave it a couple of months, but Home Insurance wasn't exciting or demanding enough for me.  The company was very nice, and the people friendly, but ooh it was time for something else....

By the end of April I had found a job that is very me.  Busy, demanding and requires creative thinking and a massive sense of humour (humor where I was dragged up!).

I've been in my new job for a couple of months now and it's great.  Nothing like Virgin though.  There's no internal or external email system, no facility services (which is great coz if you need to move something.....  you just do it, no politics!!) no internal mail, and only one IT chap.  My new boss and shift counterpart are great (Mark my boss works too much though - he's putting in close to the hours that I used to do at VAA).  There are bars on the office windows (to stop staff jumping when the PC's crash.....), I love it.

Sorry, can't tell you what it is..... it's a secret!  And NO I'm not doing time....

I've kept in touch with my ex staff and colleagues at Virgin.  I see my buddies from across the pond too.  Life is good.  I have a fantastic partner; we've just bought an old church school house built in 1858 and are looking forward to putting heating and a kitchen in it.
