Reflections
A while back I did an image in Bryce called "Reflections in a Blue Room". Ever since I've been working more in DAZ I've wanted to create a similar image completely within DAZ.
Finding out how to make a surface reflective was the first step and I found the answer in the forums at Renderosity (thanks guys!)
I started out with just a large cube which I flattened and made reflective. Then, once I knew that worked I had to make it look more like a mirror. I ended up downloading a free morphable picture frame from here, courtesy of Morphography, I think, and made the glass element of the frame match the same reflective qualities of the cube I had in there. Removed the cube and voila! A framed mirror :)
This pic took a few weeks and I think I can say I'm pleased with the result. There were many test renders along the way because you don't actually SEE the reflection UNTIL you render. It seemed to take ages to get the angles right.
