The Cambodian Wat.

This is another place that is near Pattaya. It is somewhat like a Wat but more of a sanctuary for Buddhism. The entire building is made of wood; nails are not even used. It has taken 10 years to build and it won't be finished for another 5 years. There are several different types of Buddhism represented such as from Cambodia, India, China, Burma, and Thai.

This is a closer look at one of the carvings on the Thai side of the building. Every single pillar and wall in the building has detailed carvings. The guide said that the carvings that were done two years ago had to be redone because of damage due to the salt from the ocean. All around the building there will also be wood carvings of various Buddhist deities.
