Thailand Summer 2001 Pattaya

This is the beach on the south side of Pattaya. (The clean side). It wasn't that nice of a day but the water was really warm.

This is at a Wat that is about 10 minutes away from Pattaya Beach. It was really pretty. This Wat is HUGE. Not only does it have a Buddhist Temple but it also has Chinese and some others. The little temple all the way in the back which is shown in the next picture.

This is the entrance to the temple that was at the top of the mountain in the last picture. Once you go in, there are 200 steps that you have to climb to get to the very top. It was really hot that day and boy, was I tired.

This picture was taken from the top of the 200 steps. This overlooks the entire Wat. Down there is a man-made lake and a few temples that you can see. The temple to the far left is a Cambodian temple I think. The red building right next to it is the Thai Buddhist one. In the far back, not quite visible, is the Gulf of Thailand
