Attended the workshop on “Training of Trainers in HIV / AIDS” during 7 - 9 March organised by GSACS at the Department of Microbiology, Smt NHL Municipal Medical College. Also served the trainers as a resource persons for the subject “Hospital Waste Management” especially in relation to HIV / AIDS

 

Attended the Sterling Discussion on Biomedical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 1998 jointly organised by GLS centre for environmental law & Health Forum on 17/8/99

 

Trained the various categories of hospital staff (Nurses as well as Male & Female fourth class workers) regarding Hospital Waste Management especially in relation to HIV/AIDS at Sheth L.G. Municipal General Hospital & Sheth V.S. General Hospital during the year 2000-2001.

Winner in Chess tournament during VIBRANT ’96 (Western India Inter Medical Sports & Cultural Meet) at Government Medical College, Baroda.

 

Successfully Organized, Managed & stood Third in Chess tournament during CYCLONE’95 - The All Ahmedabad Inter College Indooor Games Tournament organised by I.G.S. Committee ’95 at Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College.

 

Conducted the finals of Chess in CYCLONE ’95 as a Chief Arbitrator

 

Taken part in Late Shri J.M. Dave rapid Chess tournament held at M.G. Science Institute in Medalist group during August ’95.

High interest in poetry especially Gujarati poetry, two of which have already published in Annual college magazine in the year 1997 published on the occasion of 50th year of Indian Independence.
