We listened in on a school presentations in the main rooms, including this one.

There's a whole area in Springfield with these types of restored homes.
The town of New Salem is about 20 miles NW of Springfield. The town is a recreation of log homes and shops as were present when Lincoln lived here as a young man.
Lincoln worked in a shop like this before he took the bar.
