Out-West Trip: 5/99, Part 2
This is a view of North Clear Creek Falls along the Silver Thread Highway (Colorado 149), north of Crede. It's a pretty amazing sight.
This is Whitmore Falls, near the beginning of the Alpine Loop, west of Lake City, which is on the Silver Thread Highway. It is located considerably (and steeply) down from the road. So I scrambled down there to snap this picture. It was precarious, but worth it! The white patch on the right is snow.
