Jayess Belgians was started Jan 4, 2000 when John, a truck driver new to the dog show world, married Sally, also a truck driver who has been around the dog show world for 20years.
Our goal is to breed, raise, show, and train quality Belgian Tervurens and Belgian Malinois. We strive for good health, great temperament, structure and attitude that meet and exemplify the standard for the breed. We enjoy showing in conformation and obedience. We are always learning new things with our dogs. In the past we have worked with the dogs in herding. And we are currently learning flyball and rally obedience. The thing our dogs are all good at is being couch potatoes! Being great companions is always their 1st job, a job that they really enjoy!!!!
Our puppies are raised in our home in our living room. They are socialized with the neighbor children and our grandkids. We try to expose them to many sights and sounds.
The thing we enjoy most is helping folks new to these breeds! Belgians are a fun and beautiful breed. But they can be frustrating at times as they grow and even as adults. We don't have all the answers but we'll try to help in any way we can whether the dogs come from us or another breeder.
