It's Thanksgiving time again
It's time to give thanks for our blessings
For our wonderful family & friends.
Will you have Thanksgiving in Heaven
With all of the holiday treats?
Will Jesus Himself carve the turkey and say
Come little children and eat?
Will little hands fold and small heads bough
While an Angel leads you in prayer?
Will you pray for your family while we pray for you?
May our thoughts somehow cross in the air...
When evening draws near on this holiday
How many long years must we pray
Till we can sit by you at Jesus' side
In Heaven on Thanksgiving day?
