I wanted to have a go at making my own flying wing. At the time I needed a model in a hurry and from memory it was completed in about 4 weeks. I copied the dimensions from a plan I found on the internet, but used MH45 not the plan aerofoil. Used the Pankanin twist formula on a spreadsheet that I downloaded to calculate how much twist. Model was a bit slow, with just enough energy retention for DS. It met its end after I pulled hard up into a Zagi in the DS circuit. Fortuantely the Zagi which was EPP was undamaged, but my model of polystyrene lost a large section of the front. I attempted to repair it but it never flew as well again and I threw it away.
