| The Lost Talents of the Soul. To see the beauty in all living things; And be able to find a brighter side - A lighter side To any situation. These are the talents I once possessed. Before time hurled them away from me Like forgotten dreams floating in the void Of the subconcious mind. Once I was able To find the good in all people To find the humor in life To cast away the darkness Which now pulls me closer. The darkness that life breeds And experience sustains. Even the brightest day cannot seem to Overcome the pain and suffering which So many call life. The darkness embraces me once again And again I am filled with wonder That something so terrible and mysterious Can bring sudden peace And brighten an already blinding day. |
