THE DEPRIVED SOULS.

Today's world consists of people who are cared by none. Not new to this society, but the sudden uproar in the number of such persons certainly posts a danger for today's world. Especially in a society like ours, where relationships were given a high preference till the recent past.

The old people top this list. They are now considered as 'unproductive', a term, which comes in bad taste, to those elderly persons who gave the younger generation a reasoning capacity. This very 'knowledge' has boomeranged upon old people and landed them in the streets. The relative do not even have the pity that some onlookers have on the aged people. The state of old widows is more pitiable. Their only solace in today's world is the temples and the charitable trusts. Even there for a meagre earning of 2 rupees they are forced to sit hours in bhajans and prayers. Poor souls, even the gods do not hear their cry.

What's happening to today's world? The fanatics go on fighting for religion, caste, politics, and other such inert issues with their parents burdened with injustice. Instead of draining out reserves on some unseen god or a good-for-nothing politician, they can cater the basic needs of there old parents. They just need more of love than food.

The 'educated' are even more to blame. To be frank they act moreinsanely than the uneducated clan. What is the use of money if it is not for their parents' needs.

Old people do not require your wealth. They just need a bit of love and care, which can be provided with ease by all of us. Avoid sending them to streets. Before doing so, think what your son/daughter would do to you, when you are old. You may change your mind.

WITH A BIT OF EFFORT, LET'S TRY TO MAKE A BETTER WORLD, FOR THOSE UNCARED PEOPLE AND OURSELVES, TO LIVE IN.
