DOUBLE-POLICY
The recent American bombing on Afghanisthan has yet again brought into limelight the double policy game being played by UNCLE SAM. True to its image it denies the accusations. But bare facts are'nt there for denial.
The mightiest power is reportedly waging a war against terrorism. Why are they concerned about terrorism lately? If it is an answer for the september11th attacks on America, why call it an "WORLD WAR AGINST TERRORISM" rather than American revenge on terrorism. These questions redirect to other similar ones such as, where was America when there were frantic cries of innocent lives threatened by terrorists in India? Why has it suddenly occurred to them, that world peace is threatened by terrorists? The only answer can be that America did not want to care about other countries, till it happened to them. First in 1993 and now in 2001.
The master's own dog has bitten him. They taught osama to hide. And he is doing his job perfectly, though he has shifted sides efficiently.
The UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION is full of vacuum over the issue. Not even a meager step to prevent a war. Contradictory to the action of NOT-PREVENTING a war, Mr. Kofi Annan is given a nobel peace prize. This 'PIECE' of prize can only be seen as the bread crumbs thrown to ants, to stop talking, if he ever wishes so, which is the most unlikely thing. UNO has been a pawn of USA from its foetal days. Now acting as a subsidiary of USA it has the right to question India's movements in LOC, but not America's aggressive stand on Afghanisthan. Why see the same thing th two with different viewpoint for different people? At this point we don’t want an UNO which is more respectable in shambles than in its present form.
The Pakistan's support to America has even raised question which concerns India. The reported co-operation is reportedly an agreement between the two countries to hyelp each other in wars. One against Afghan, the other against India. Jehad would be forgotten soon.
If America supports Pakistan, which they will in accordance of recent speeches, the world will again split into two sides. But the better option for India is Taliban attacking Pakistan for supporting America. This will see the war between the enemies and eventually one's defeat. This gives India an opportunity to face only one enemy. And even after this, if they enforce a war against India , the world will pay for it. The world war would be inevitable. But the eternal rule will remain.
GOOD DESTROYS THE EVIL.
Nostradamus gave us thereasons to the world war. But he failed to give a peaceful solution to it. Though lately, this may be the time for the human race to find the solution .
