1991-1994 graduated in Zoology from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India.

1994-1996 postgraduated in Zoology (specialization in cytology and genetics) from University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India.

1996-2002 doctoral research. Ph.D. in cytogenetics from University of Kalyani, India. Thesis: "Cytogenetic Studies in some teleostean fishes from India" Submission: 11/10/ 2002,Ph. D. Award: 01/09/2003.

2002-2004 as a Part-Time Faculty in Department of Zoology(12/10/2001 to 04/01/2004), Kanchrapara College, 24 Pgs (N) and in Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya (01/04/1999 to 03/31/2004),Puba Medinipur-721655 West Bengal, India.
