Somewhere in the dark depths of Commorragh is the home turf of the Kabal of the Crimson Dawn. These Dark Eldar follow a creature by the name of Zikarion. Not much information is known about Zikarion himselfit isnt even known if its a he or a she, but it is assumed that it is a he. Most that have come in contact with him have never resurfaced. Those that have resurfaced rarely show, usually to do their masters bidding. Zikarion is feared and revered in the underground of Commorragh, though most of it because of rumours about his Kabal.
It is said Zikarion himself is very old, and sustains his body by using an almost constant intake of tortured souls. His Kabal constantly works at feeding his immense appetite for souls, for if he does not receive the souls of the Kabals victims he feeds on the Kabal itself, so soldiers must constantly kill to save their own souls.
Zikarions primary henchman is a Haemonculus by the name of Kazahrn. Kazahrn is an extremely twisted and malevolent creature that truly fits the mold of a Haemonculus. He has a lab not too distant from Zikarions throne where he performs his twisted experiments on captured enemies. He always handpicks his victims from any lot of prisoners before his lesser Haemonculi are let loose on the remainder. His torturous experiments are designed to maximize pain and suffering for his victims so that Zikarion gains more nourishment from their demise.
Negatzeila is the headstrong leader of the Wych Cult of Evisceration. She is not directly tied to the Kabal but she has some form of relationship with the powerful Zikarion, and lends the power of her cult to his efforts for both his needs and for training her gladiators.
A creature, known only as The Bloody Mirage, heads the Mandrake battalions. How Zikarion retains his loyalty is a mystery to many. The Bloody Mirage and his group, The Bleeding Shadows, are renowned for their unpredictability and lethality. This group serves as the Kabals personal assassins.
The Kabal of the Crimson Dawn has a tradition before leaving Commorragh for hunting more victims. In their private compound is a Haemonculus den, where all the Kabals victims are tortured to death. Some are chosen for special experiments, but most are tortured and displayed. The victim is secured to the ceiling with thin razor wire and impaled by hollow tubes. These tubes slowly drain the blood from the victims, allowing the victim to watch their blood roll out of their bodies. The tubes are coated in a nasty nerve toxin that is extremely painful, but not lethal. The victim spends several days in writhing agony as they watch their blood drain away. Anyone receiving special treatment looks to the ceiling and sees a patchwork display of tortured creatures on the ceiling, as blood rains down from above.
All the blood is collected using a drain mechanism in the floor of the Haemonculus chamber, and the souls are extracted and piped straight to the throne room. The blood is rerouted to a large fountain at the gates to the compound. Kazahrn himself designed the fountain. The head of the structure is a huge trophy rack, adorned with the bodies and skulls of countless races. From the center of the rack rains a shower of blood. The blood of their enemies is recycled again and again for display in this twisted piece of architecture. The soldiers embarking on a journey visit this fountain and bathe in the blood of their victims, as a blessing for the coming massacre. Some even drink the blood, as they believe it endows strength of body and mind. The colour of their armour is a permanent stain from these baths. By the time the army reaches the destination, the smell of old blood and death rise from their masses. The Kabal fight with fervor, as any new blood added to the pool may be theirs if they fail in capturing victims.
Negatzeilas Cult of Evisceration is a rapidly rising cult in the gladiatorial arenas of Commorragh. They have fought an uphill battle to conquer the competition in the arena and on the field of battle, but the decision to assist Zikarion has helped her group gain a lot of power and reputation. She absolutely loathes Lelith Hesperax and her Cult of Strife, and hopes to destroy her in the arena personally. Her Cults signature move in the arena has earned high praise from the audience and fear on the field. A Wych armed with twin HydraKnives plunges both knives into the belly of the opponent, draws them up into the persons chest and them pries it open, spilling the contents of its chest cavity to the ground.
