Nothing pleases me more than spreading words which have deeply impressed me or in some way advanced what I feel is our, 'humanness' in all fields. The following works are a tiny library I've been collecting on various electronic storage devices over a period of years. Its hard updating as I dont want to make the mistake of putting up something which might violate copyright laws (most of these arent on my server anyway). Here are the small number of works I can share with you though, and each is brilliant on its own accord. Remember, again, this is only the beginning...You can find TONS of material floating out there - just spend some time looking for real information on this thing we have dubbed, 'the internet'. Its not all about email and celebrity reports...If you're clever, you'll figure out easily enough where I got each work from and you can backtrack to some truly fabulous websites...I've got many more texts I shall be linking up or uploading soon.

Sacred Texts of Mage Abramelin Book 1 2 & 3

Why read this: These three texts are supposedly written by Abramelin, a very powerful mage of the past. Contains a variety of rituals by which Abramelin achieved power, fame and wealth and a general outline of magic and the spirit world. A great autobiography.

The Church of Satan - Micheal Aquino

Why read this: A terrific book for one interested in the subject of contemporary satanism or a fan of autobiographies by a genuinely intelligent man (how often do you find one of those?). A very large book containing the entire history of The Church of Satan till its split by the man who played a major role in its formation and fame. Contains many exciting tidbits on how a religion develops in modern times and its extensive end notes contain a wealth of information on satanic beliefs, practices, rituals, publications etc.

Cults of Cthulu - Article

Why read this: A short article on the myths surrounding the works of H. P. Lovecraft (a controvesial figure in horror/science fiction writing), specifically covering the myth of The Necronomicon...Also provides a nice biography of the author and the manner in which his mind functioned...

Notes on writing weird fiction - H. P. Lovecraft

Why read this: A TERRIFIC piece which is a great read for all budding writers and fans of fiction in general. Even if you dont take the advice to heart, its exciting to be presented such a candid look on how H. P. Lovecraft thought and constructed his works.

Belial Point Theory - Dave Golgotha

Why read this: For all you philosophical junkies, an exciting tirade on the moment of creation/existence and its consequence(s) ...

Nine Cures for Mastrubation - Leigh Rutledge

Why read this: I love reading historic texts which have nothing to do with wars or power struggles. This is one of them, and an amusing one too - funny to think these rules truly applied to one part of humanity in the past.

Might is Right  - Arthur Desmond

Why read this: A rather famous and extremely controversial piece of writing made famous through its quotation in, 'The Satanic Bible'. Contains a lot of ideas not so easy to digest. Worth reading.

Twilight of the Idols - Nietzesche

Why read this: Enough cannot be said about this philosophical/psychological/sociological/historical examination of all parts of human life from Nietzesche's point of view. If you dont recognize the name, hes a famous german romantic philosopher, often quoted as the godfather of existentialism (sometimes wrongfully quoted as the godfather of Nazi philosophy). He writes powerfully, sarcastically and emotionally on all subjects that come to his attention, and this is his very personal journal of thoughts.

Collected Works - Eliot

Why read this: Eliot is one of those poet/thinkers who has had massive impact on my writing style. His strange visions written in beautiful verse always containing a greater truth or meaning for all humanity to understand.

The Wastelands - Eliot

Why read this: Incase you dont have time to go through all of his works, here is Eliot's most famous piece. The Wastelands is a vision of the world through the eyes of various travellers in that land (this world?). It is a grim and dark piece containing some of the most morbid imagery I have ever read. A great read, presenting a close examination of human existence as only a poet can capture it.

Notebook of Leonardo da vinci

Why read this: Not only is this man a painter, hes a scientist, a philosopher, a magician and a psychologist of the highest order. This personal journal of Da Vinci's reveals how a great man thinks and acts. While most of his ideas and theories are outdated or matter of debate, it is his methods and his reasoning which stand out as an exception among people. A great read for anyone interested in this historical figure, who is a lot more than I thought.

On the Decay of the Art of Lying - Mark Twain

Why read this: The most awesome use of dry wit and outrageous humor I've seen in a while. This was an essay written for a competition with prize money ($30). It lost, for obvious reasons ;)

Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Nietzesche

Why read this: A strange and very compelling story by Nietzesche on his representation of the 'new man' dubbed Zarathustra, and his adventures in a world he wishes to teach. A philosophical discussion in reality, this story will make you stop at every step and think long and hard...

The Rubaiyat - Omar Khayam

Why read this: The sheer poetic lyricism should be enough. This is a terrific translation of the original work - a spiritual outlook on life and death and all that runs in between by this poet.

The thoughts of emperor Marcus Aurelius

Why read this: Another historical text which is of tremendous interest for anyone who likes autobiographies, history, philosophy etc. You may have noticed I enjoy autobiographies and direct texts. I think there is something great in reading something written directly by the source of inspiration - its the closest link to feeling what it would be like to have experienced it yourself. Enjoy this text by a great man.

Road to Freedom - Bertrand Russell

Why read this: Because it may be the only hope for salvation for humanity? This book outlines Bertrand Russell's unique philosophy regarding the future of societies functioning on a large scale. His solution? A strange combination of Socialism and Anarchy...Its tempting...Dont knock it till you've tried it...

Art of Attention - Buddhist text

Why read it: It teaches you how to concentrate, and what could be more important in life? Wake up and experience life as you never thought it could have existed. One thing, read the text, then try it experientially...thats the only way.

Crystal gazing - Frater Achad

Why read this: A practice often hidden within occult circles for no reason, crystal gazing is a great technique for increasing your ability to concentrate and to let your mind roam free...This is a good text explaining how to do so.

America not a Christian Nation - Dean Worbois

Why read this: Its controversial - its full of stuff against religion (if you're into that stuff) - Its a well-written analysis.

The Fable of Ishtar

Why read this: An ancient fable (Or part of the Lovecraft mythology?) about the descent of Ishtar into 'Hell'. A beautiful piece with evocative imagery with my favorite diety (Marduk) playing a small role in its end.

The Tomb - H. P. Lovecraft

Why read this: Short piece of horror-fiction by H. P. Lovecraft (by now I'm sure you're dying to read some of his work).

LSD my problem child - Albert Hoffman

Why read this: This document is a great read for a number of reasons. It is interesting from a chemists point of view yet it is easy to read for the lay-man and it examines the history of LSD and its creator's experiences using (abusing) it. Its in the form of an autobiography and contains an in-depth examination of what this drug's powers truly are.

Socrates - Voltaire

Why read this: It is a great play - an incredible representation of Socrates' trial and events surrounding it viewed from Voltaire's philosophical outlook. I am a big Voltaire fan so please, please give this play a chance; trust me, you'll love it...candide...
