This peice is a direct representation of a poem/song by Jim Morrison which greatly touched me. I drew it as I listened to the song on repeat for 20 cycles. It represents a singular male figure (me?) sitting upon a pill. There is a great fear of some danger (represented by the claws infront) and yet there is strange beauty and peace (represented by the figure of a woman looming from above). Her hair flows down like waves upon the beach; her figure is soft and inviting. The tension of being within such a state of beauty and danger is the all-mighty theme here...very often beauty is overpowering to the point of being dangerous...very often danger is disguised in a beautiful form...
