Lights for the Fake Jack-O-Lanterns

These lights are very simple to make (they have to be - I'm not an electrician). The battery holders and the switches were purchased from the nearest Radio Shack, the Mini Maglite light bulbs were purchased at The Home Depot, and the wire was left over from when I installed my garage door opener. I could have purchased all of the parts at Radio Shack, but it didn't work out that way.
These were the parts used to make the lights for the jack-O-lanterns. The only tools needed were a soldering iron, solder (or course), and a phillips-head screw driver. The screwdriver is needed to open the battery case. One thing I forgot to include in the picture are the alligator clips used to hold the lightbulbs. I wanted clips in case a light went out. I could grab a spare and make a quick change, then be back in business.
Here is the working product - aligator clips included. Very simple design, but works excellently for lighting the pumpkins.
