Tear stain removal
by Lucy C.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Tear stain removal In the battle of prevention and removal of tear stains, I just found another product that has proven to be useful. It is called "Crystal Eye" made by "Four Paws". It is applied by hand, using a cotton ball. It has been effective for Tammy and I have been applying it to her face just about every other day for the past week, and has been getting rid of the tear stains gradually. the difference is very noticeable. It costs about $7.00 for four ounces. Although it is not cheap, a little goes a long way, and it doesn't have the strong odor that many tear stain cleaning agents do. I will continue to purchase it though, despite the cost. After all, I have purchased astringents for myself that cost even more . The ingredients of this isn't listed, but of course, I still exercise extreme caution around the eye area. I hope this helps and I just wanted to share my experience with you. Good luck!

DISCUSSION:

Lucy: My vet said use Hydogen Peroxide and it has been working terrific. I also condition their face between bathes. It is much cheaper and works better and I have tried everything on the market.

Shellie,I also use Peroxide and it does help. What conditioner do you use on your little ones face between baths?
Bernadette
Shelley, When you say you condition between baths, what do you use? How often for the h. peroxide? Ellie
